cheeryoleary Perhaps some company has come in to provide an outsourced service?
That said, any idea what the level of profit was from these operations? Worth employing people for?

Royal Lady "for business reasons"? What a strange reason.

Behindu I hope this doesn't mean the end of Mike Kearney's association with the club...
As player, steward of the Rendezvous and Promotions Manager he must be second only to Gordon Neate amongst current staff in terms of the length of service he has given RFC ....

AthleticoSpizz I have had/and had good banter with several different door-to-door collectors selling scratch cards (along with the Blue Riband) over the past 6 or 7 years.
Is that the end of that then?

Also insincere. If it is for sound business reasons, do they really regret the decision? I suspect not!

That's a daft analogy. To use leaving Elm Park as the same sort of thing as stopping scratch cards would mean you'd have to have stopped the football after leaving Elm Park shirley?BehinduRoyalBlueRoyal Lady "for business reasons"? What a strange reason.

????
How so ?
They may regret the decision on historical / individual grounds but think it is right for business reasons.
We all regretted leaving Elm Park for all sorts of reasons, but it was still the right thing to do.
