Concourse areas

When the stadium is expanded will the existing concourse areas be made bigger? They are just too small and need some sort of queuing system for the food kiosks.

There are plans to have another concourse for the extension. I've seen nothing about expanding what will be the lower east, north and south stands.

The answer is on the plans !

Clearly though , once the stand is twice the size and reaches all the way to the slope the club will block off all the extra space and let Gordon neate use it for his mower.

Top tip for the designers....

If you don't want a crowd of people blocking the exits at full time trying to rubberneck the television showing sky sports news......

Don't install televisions next to exits.

That is all.

That is so true. Trying just to get in through the turnstiles sometimes is almost impossible without pushing your way through. I can't believe the club allow such a squash to occur, yet you stand up from your seat for ten seconds and somehow that's regarded as dangerous.

And the other could be argued should be dealt with under H&S, same as the safetly gate.

Another thing they should improve is the mobile Fosters sellers! They seem to all start on the middle of the concourse then work their way to the ends - they need to sort out their formation and spread out a bit.

North Stand there are always sellers at the East end of the stand , blocking the exit nearest the drummer !

I'm sure the plans made no provision for expanding the concourse. There'll be a new one upstairs, but it looks like the top tier will overhang the lower one rather than have a new wall to the floor.

I'd love to be wrong though.

They are never at the West end of the North stand which is stupid.
