Jerry St Clair So, any top tips on paying in interest free instalments? There seem to be a dearth of 0% interest credit cards at the moment (my usual preferred method).
Any smart advice nobbers?

cheeryoleary If you don't fancy the Barclaycard option (which is good), consider Egg Money. The card has 3 months interest free, plus it pays 1% cash back annually in March/April next year. A season ticket will net you GBP 5.45
Not much, but keep reading....
Transfer (manually) your salary from your current account to your Egg Money card to an Egg savings account back to your current account and Egg also pay 1% cash back on the money moved. You just need to be able to live without that cash for 12 days. There is a cap of GBP 200 maximum cashback per annum however if you recycle your money in this manner, moving GBP 1600. per month, you will receive a payment of GBP 200 next March/April. You will be paid a small ammount of interest for the days that your money is in the Egg Money Card (4%) and Egg Savings Account (5.25%) so taking all this into account, your season ticket could cost you GBP 340 rather than GBP 545
If you do get a credit card, make it work for you.
