Anyone know when Sky/Steana will be choosing the live games?

It may be more complicated as Sky do not have the sole rights this year. They may have to go through a kind of priority pick thing, like the shared BBC/Sky rights where BBC had first pick, then Sky, then BBC.... you get the idea!

Yep but I don't think the priority changes week by week - the most expensive package (Sunday 4 pm matches) still gets the first pick.

Doesn't each package have to have a certain number of appearances by each team?

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, but does anyone know if the Peace Cup fixtures will be televised in the UK?

And of course where and when. (Just in case any smart *@â„¢% (person) replies 'Yes'.)

Don't think so, although not 100% sure of the details of this new contract -but I think the early contracts did, but once the big clubs realised this would reduce their income then it was quietly dropped.

Setanta to announce their live SPL fixtures on the 24th of June

I would imagine they'll announce their EPL fixtures around the same time

Compo's Hat Did Setanta have the last TV rights package?

Nope - the last 3 year package was exlusively with Sky. To get round EU objectons this year the package has been split into 6 packages - Sky have 3, Setanta have, as below :

Sky won 4 of the 6 TV packages :
Package A: 23 matches shown at 1600 on Sunday
Package B: 23 matches shown at 1330 on Sunday
Package E: 23 matches shown at 1245 on Saturday
Package F: seven to 13 matches on midweek evenings/bank holidays, 10 to 16 at 1245 on Saturday and 1600 on Sunday

Setanta won the other 2 :
Package C: minimum of 12 matches at 2000 on Monday, the rest either at 1330 on Sunday or 1715 on Saturday or other times
Package D: minimum of 18 matches at 1715 on Saturday, the rest either at 1330 on Sunday, 2000 on Monday or other times

When the Setanta packages say "or other times," do you know if that is saying give or take half an hour here or there (police advice, etc.) or is there more freedom then that?

I see it costs £15 pound a month for sky users to get setanta, which i dont think is to bad compared to prem plus prices, however i did notice freeview users can get it for £10.99, i have freeview built in to my telly(never used it), but have sky, do you think i could get it cheaper and not tell them i have sky? or are they wise to this?

We paid Setanta £10 for first 3 months, then £15 for the rest through Sky/ordering via Internet.

Only problem is we have to pay extra for Hatton's fight this weekend

Anyone know if Setanta will be doing a pay-per-view scheme? And if so, how much?

As I understand it, there will be no PPV this season - it's all subscription based.
