The 17 Bus OK how about, 4/5 in a car £5, 3 in a car £6, 2 in a car £7, 1 in a car £8 i feel sure the money men will go for that, as they get the same as now as a minimum, it is a no lose situation.

But what if your car is only a 2 seater

Dirk Gently You're forgetting human nature!
People driving along the A33 with only 1 or 2 people in the car would probably accost people walking to the stadium and offer them a lift!

Behindu How about doing it the other way - £5 if your car is full
£6 if 1 seat is empty, £7 if 2, £8 if you have 3 unused seats
Doubt the car park is much of a money spinner and the club have a big interest in ensuring traffic is reduced so would make sense.
Although it would make no difference to the number of cars using the site.

So how much for a diesel MPV with 6 empty seats?
Even though it is much more environmentally friendly than a full 2 seater or even 2 full land rovers?

weybridgewanderer I have a better suggestion
No car park passes for anyone that lives within a bus route to the stadium

Excluding the Gloucester - Cheltenham - Swine - Reading (Calcot) - Heathrow - London Victoria National Express service

The 17 Bus In all honesty RFC seem to be going about it the right way at the moment, extra bus routes are being laid on for the coming season, hopefully a better service from the Park and Ride, we could really do with a Park and Ride from south of the M4, trouble is the cost of using someones land to park on. An express service from Woodley would be good as well, perhaps Adwest might allow the use of their car park for such a purpose, though not likey.
