EVERS BACK AND WORKING HARD
16th January
Royals midfielder Sean Evers is back in training and he spoke exclusively to
http://www.readingfc.co.uk about his future, both short and long term :
"I must admit at first it was slightly awkward coming back but it's been about 10 days now and that awkward feeling has gone. It's simply a case of getting back into it and working hard. I enjoyed my time at St Johnstone, mainly because I was able to get some games under my belt. I wasn't playing for Reading at the time so it was very helpful to spend some time playing in the St Johnstone first team."
"In the short term my only goal is to work as hard as possible. That is the only way I can begin to force myself back into contention. I think my chances of getting back in the first team depend on how hard I work. It's obviously more difficult because the team is playing well but that won't stop me from applying myself. I can see myself with a long term future at Reading and so much can change between now and the end of the season. At the moment I will just concentrate on working hard and trying to show the manager what I can do."
