Middlesborough

by madreadingfan » 14 Feb 2008 21:44

Only 1,000 tickets on sale...
priced at £24 for adults, £15 for under 16s and over 65s, and £9 for under 12s.

I will be going, as it will be a massive game for us and a certain winnable game.

SO...... who's going to make the trip up north to the riverside?

Not enough to make only having an allocation of 1000 a problem I would suggest. Top day last year though. Beers at 9am at Kings Cross, and on the train, and at Darlo station, and in Boro. Asking the locals what the fcuk that bridge is all about. Shame about the result and not remembering any of the joureny home.

I'll be at Boro, booked my train tickets about a month back http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=70943. Really enjoyed Boro last year, but for us to get our 1st away league win of the season there would be awesome.

The singularly worst journey of the season and for that reason, I'm out

No, it's one of those games we lose. We're more likely to beat Villa than we are win away at another poor side.

Apparently the club are going to give 200 royalty points to all those that travelled to Boro' for being 'loyal'.

Most probably?

I think if that were true they would sell the match out due to people effectively buying royalty points, and then they'd end up all not going. Just look at an fa cup game, when we offer 20 points, or the friendly against feyenoord where it nearly sold out, but the stadium was halfful.

Royalty points are proving a little pointless now. Last season, they were useful when many away games were selling out. How many away games have we sold out this season?
