Thank you

by Shaka's Giant Hands » 03 May 2008 19:31

Apologies, but not really sure where to put this. I would just like to say thank you to the oxf*rd that felt the need to chuck water bombs from the top of the east stand today at the final whistle.

People around us got soaking wet, myself included (I am big enough and old enough not to be bothered by it) BUT sadly the 60 year old woman that was left soaking, shaken and visibly after taking a full hit to the head was not.

I hope whoever it was had a good laugh and wonder how they would feel if it was, say, their mum that had been hit.

F*cking idiots

Count yourself lucky. In the 1980s it would have been bricks, lumps of concrete and darts.

just how warm was that "water"?

SGH

the act of throwing anything within the stadium is not allowed...a bit like scoring

Maybe it will figure on cctv somewhere (should you care to report it)....until now I am sure that security are blissfully aware of this misfortune.

Unfortunately, (whilst supporting Reading has been (by and large a pleasure) the PREMIERSHIT has really brought out the wakners within our community.

Hope they catch the smug arseh0le and name and shame him on the scoreboard next season

Great idea. I want a few with some nice warm piss (not Fosters) and one particularly for Shorey's face.

Yes, we all found it hilarious...in fact my first concen was not the welfare of the innocent lady left shaken and upset...but that I had hoped it had all been recorded so that we could all get a good cheap laugh at someone else's expense!

Oh to have the brain of the YouTube generation...

I saw this too and being 5-6 rows from the back looked round to see loads of spotty little turds all grinning & laughing which quickly stopped when I repeatedly asked which hard man had done that?!

Not a whimper came back, says it all.....

I can only assume you're several years older than me, in the You've Been Framed generation.

Its even worse than the excuse i got when i had my water bottle examined the other week and then had the lid taken of because ' people put water into the lid and throw it '
These is ten times worse.

Cheers Rob Royal, it does say it all. I haven't reported it (as I doubt that it would have been caught on CCTV anyway) and am in no way surprised that the idiots didn't have the courage to own up.

My only hope is that one day they will say something to the wrong person...sadly these people never have the courage to say something though and are ore likely to be the kind of person that will mindlessly kick off wing mirrors off cars in the early hours after there 3rd alco-pop has got them blind drunk.

Sitting at the back of Y26 I unfortunately too saw this incident.

Quite frankly bang out of order - and the dickhead who threw it should be banned from the ground.

Probably entered the ground as baloons which were then filled up in the toilets.

Ban baloons I say, it will prevent this happening again and also all those stupid baloons that get on the pitch (The Wigan playoff game being the most notible case where play had to stop so baloons could be burst).
