Well Rangers were totally out played both on and off the pitch and the result was the correct one. But what a horrible team Rangers are to watch - its rare to walk into a game a neutral and out of it not a neutral, but it happened last night.

Ideal
Jack Celliers
mini _dariusz Rangers wqouldn't have made much out of that UEFA cup run Finerain, Everton only made 0.5m this season.

To say no reading players would not get into Rangers' team is a bit laughable.

No Rangers players would get in Reading's team would be closer to the truth. Flicking between the Rangers match and the play-off semi-final put the quality of the Rangers team into context. Well done to them on getting so far, but as soon as a goal went in they were doomed.

I really can't see which Rangers player would get into our team.

Goalkeeper - disastrously poor, had at least two moments of insanity where he ran to the centre of midfield, leaving his position unattended
Right back - was he even there?
Weir - not better than what we've got, SLOWWWWWWWW MOTION
Papac - younger but slower than weir
left back - was he even there?

darcheville - reminds me of lita without the finishing skills, falls over constantly and tries to avoid getting the ball
nacho novo - couldn't score from ten yards, shit player

ferguson - couldn't get into blackburns team, and showed why

rest of midfield were absent and invisible, so I can't even rate them

None of this lot did anything to indicate they would have made our team this season.

Comical review of positions as always Ideal!

Broadfoot was playing right back and made a couple of excellent tackles - better than Murty.
Papac was at left back
Cuellar was the other centre back and played ok, although not as well as in previous ties, would be a certain starter for Reading (and half of the Premier League)

Rest of the team were pretty anonomous, Darcheville put the effort in, but Rangers are just sooo negative

Shane Long's touch > Barry Ferguson's touch
James Harper's midfield invention > Barry Ferguson's midfield invention

Rangers were truly shit

So with the stabbing and all when can we expect to hear from UEFA with regards to a fine/ban?

So many comments about Rangers back line being worse than readings. This is a rangers defence that prior to last night had conceded 2 goals in 8 Uefa cup games.

Novo has scored a number of significant as well as stunning goals this season. Did you see his second goal on saturday?
Other than when he was injured when could barry ferguson not get in the Balckburn team?

When the Daily Show finished, before I flicked back to the Hull v Watford game I went to channel 3 to check the score in this, ITV didn't even have the score graphic on screen, is this because they're truly awful at covering football or because it was patnetly obvious it would still be 0-0?

rangers are the ugliest club institution in world football

they play the ugliest football, tyring to 0-0 their way to a title with a 10 man defense

and of course their fans behaviour last night-basically thrashing manchester and attacking police says everything and was in complete contrast to celtics behaviour in seville

they really should be banned from europe now(weren't they warned about their behaviour in spain last season?) not only coz of their disgusting fans but also coz of their disgusting, drive me to suicide "football"

Still at least they are a Scottish team supported by Scottish supporters. Unlike Celtic who are confused if they're Irish or Scottish.

Hmmmmm, I noticed a rather large amount of BRITISH flags on display. I always thought that the average Scotsman preferred to think of themselves as Scottish rather than British.

It's their desire to show support for the protestant loyalists of Northern ireland against the heretic catholic fenian bastards who support Celtic although they live in a different country.

At least that is what they would say.

Are you trying to wind-up Finerain? We could do without yet another succession of "Rangers as upholders of the Union" posts.

celtic were founded by irish immigrants and thus have every right to express an affinity woith ireland

were rangers founded by english immigrants, what justification do they have....oh ya of course, it's all reactionary to celtic, trying to provoke etc etc, its pathetic and evidence that they have an inferiority complex and are jealous of celtics proud identity/hostory so they invent their own
