Didcot match

by Man Friday » 08 Jul 2008 12:15

I'm sure I'm the only person who doesn't know (and I expect it's been covered elsewhere so apologies) but what's the situation for the Didcot match on Saturday? Do you need to buy tickets in advance (are Reading selling them?) or can you turn up on the afternoon?

Last couple of seasons I've just paid on the day at the turnstile.

Having spoken to the ticket office, they've told me to turn up on the day and pay on the turnstile.

See you down there. The Ladygrove pub is two mins away. The right handside bar is the 'sports bar' and I'll be in there from 12pm.

I've posted this elsewhere already but here goes again (sorry if this is a bit long-winded), but here's the admission details for Saturday's game at Didcot:
There will be no tickets available before Saturday, this game is pay on the day only. However, to ease congestion before kick-off matchday tickets will be on sale at the Loop Meadow Stadium from 12.30pm (from the bar inside the club).
There will be three turnstiles open, one of these will be for ticket holders only. The other two turnstiles will be cash only. Please note we have no credit card facilities at DTFC.
The bar will be open for all supporters from midday. Turnstiles will open from 1.30pm and suppporters are encouraged to arrive at the ground early. Parking is available at the ground but spaces are limited. The Loop Meadow Stadium is only 5 minutes walk from Didcot Parkway Railway Station. Directions to the stadium can be found on the club's official website http://www.didcottownfc.com
Admission for this game will be £7 Adults, £4 Senior Citizens and youths aged 14-17, £2 Children under 14. Programmes cost £1.50.
Hot food and cold snacks will be on-sale inside the ground.
Safe journey and we look forward to another enjoyable game and drink...
