£5.50 for an adult return is a joke! Bearing in mind that most large businesses have to submit a comprehensive travel plan, detailing how 'sustainable' journeys are encouraged ect,Reading fc should take far more responsibility for making bus travel the preferred choice of travel for the majority of supporters. This sort of transport should be subsidized to make it much more cost effect then driving and parking.

I went to southampton a few years ago and theres a really good system where you get a ticket, with 2 extra tabs. One lets you take public transport in and the other tansport out, now I have a feeling that this would help encourage the use of bus'/trains etc. on match days

That's the standard practice in Germany and much of Europe - your match ticket includes transport to and from the town or city centre.

Bracknell to Reading on the train is £4.80. You still have to get from reading station to the stadium (£3 on the park and ride bus)

The Basingstoke and Tadley buses have been merged too, which means those travelling from Chineham are screwed.

Good job I've moved.

It also adds half an hour each way to our journey, so oxf*rd that for a game of soldiers, we'll be driving in.
