Bill Oddie's Beard This absolutely sickens me.

Not me.

They're selling their soul to the devil. What pleasure is there is buying your way to the title?

Parejo didn't have a great record in the Spanish 3rd tier last season and scored 11 goals in 37 matches. From what i know of SPanish football the 3rd tier over there is worse than our 3rd tier.

He may be highly rated but he is young and so might not have a good impact over here. Only time will tell.

Not bothered bout that, just worried that I'm gonna have to fork out to my mate if they beat us a couple of times and finish above us.

QPR manager Iain Dowie is on the verge of being sacked after a row with owner Flavio Briatore over the proposed transfer of an unnamed player from the Middle East. (The Times)

Flavio has been using his weight in the european market while Dowie gets Gorkks and Cook, only one winner, but i'm not overly concerned should Dowie walk.

This'll be the Iain Dowie who took Palace from 22nd at Christmas to the Premiership in the 2003/4 season?

The latest chapter in the QPR soap opera is the one I would be most worried about if I was a fan of theirs; as has been said, when the board start to dictate to a Manger what players they want to bring in, it will end in tears (Exhibit A - Shevchenko M'Lud).

Clearly Rangers will need to move to a larger stadium if they want to fulfil their bosses' ambitions - I just hope for their fans this doesn't become a situation where the ground gets sold (for vast money, surprise, surprise) before a new ground has been sorted out (like both BHA and Wimbledon in the last 20 years).

The other issue is one of timescale - how long will the failure of not getting into the Prem - or even getting into the Prem but not being "bigger than Chelsea in 5 Years" (a direct quote from one of the board members last season) - be tolerated before these guys get bored with their new plaything and then go off to look for a new hobby? Because not even the most ardent Rangers fan can claim they are doing this for their love of the club!
