Is a member card still needed ???

by woodley_royal_124 » 07 Sep 2008 20:56

My apologies for my ignorance but just wanted to confirm whether the following is the case ? My brother-in-law is coming over from Australia soon and wishes to see the Reading v Swansea match at the Madejski. As he is only staying over here with his family for three weeks, I assume he will he still have to pay £ 10 for a member card in order to get a ticket just for just that match ?? thanks

If you buy the ticket on the day they issue you with a paper ticket.

Member cards are £2, so might as well get one anyway - you'll have to pay £4 extra to buy a ticket on the day.

Last year I paid £10 for a member card for my brother who lives abroad. A few weeks later the club said that member cards will now be free and that people who had paid £10 would get it back. After a reminder from me to the club I did indeed get the money back. So they should still be free.
