ST upgrades

by Royalwaster » 05 Sep 2008 10:15

Couldn't see this asked before so here goes - does anyone know whether there is a limit this season on upgrading kids ST to adult ones? Last year, the official limit was 3, but I got away with 4 - I guess it's in their interest as they get more money that way, but don't want people to abuse it either.

I'd just keep going until they say no, lot of evening games this season so not unreasonable to request more

It's not abuse to upgrade. the club tends to get suspicious if you try to downgrade. On an unrelated subject i asked to move points off my ST onto my daughters membercard to allow her to get a faster away ticket allocated. not again was a resounding NO. Apparently open to abuse again.

How can you downgrade - you mean from one year to the next? I guess in previous years when kids STs were still very cheap, it was a way to 'hold' a seat and only to upgrade for the games you really wanted to go to. In 2006/07 it was an amazing deal as I purchased a half-season ticket for only £30 and upgrading cost, I think, only about £10 - so it was cheaper than having a full adult ST. That's not the way it works anymore though ...
