FiNeRaIn Hull have actually shown ambition and broguht in players, we didn't. There's the difference.

The difference (of course) is that Reading's all -conquering, Championship-winning, record-breaking team that won promotion had the ability to survive in the premiership. The XI that Hull fielded regularly in the chmpionship last season would be pointless in the PL this season. Reading were relegated because the side that earned promotion had lost two if it's best players in Sidwell and Little (obviously other factors involved, but that's not the point).

I would be VERY surprised if Hull (or WBA or Stoke) finish higher than we did in 06/07.

It's interesting that Hull have been praised by some after Sunderland were criticised for pretty much doing the same thing last season.

what a pointless set of arguments. why not just enjoy the way they've started the season and wish them the best. no point comparing models for staying up etc. to my mind they'll have at least 25 points by Xmas and stay up; what's more I think they've bought exceptionally well. Juande Ramos should take note - if you buy new players, play them.

not sure I mentioned that my close personal friend Dean Windass wrote me a card for my wedding.
