Dutch 1-0 up over, uh, a north Atlantic island nation on the verge of going into receivership with any of among a handful of banks still standing in a year's time.

Greece 2-0 Moldova HT
Belgium 1-0 Armenia 22'
Turkey 0-1 Bosnia-Herzegovina 50'

Russia pull one back and trail 2-1 in Germany and are all over the hosts right now with 55 minutes gone.

Israel back in front of Lux, leading 2-1 away. Turks lead Bosnia-Herzegovina by the same score after falling behind early.

Sweden 0-0 Portugal FT

Poland secure a massive 3 points against an average Czech side, who appear to have peaked now.

I hear that Yohann Gourauf's equaliser for France was a great strike, will it save Domenech though?

Interesting to see Paw Brozek get a game, and a goal to boot. Did you watch the match? I'd been telling people to watch out for him for years based on his rise at Wisla, then when he did get a short run for the reprezentacja he was christawful. Anyway, bring on Slovakia!

Yeah, tbf I haven't seen much of him but he impressed me Saturday. He held the line up well, certainly 1 for the future. I do fear we don't have that strength in depth in that particular area. Maybe Janczyk will come on over the next couple of years.

Had the game on Sopcast, shitty Internet cut out just before Kuba's goal but really good finish for anyone that wants to see it;
