Super_horns Could be one of those allegations that get put about but nothing actually happens...he isn't a Joey Barton type.

Seal Let's not just go down the usual route of 'all footballers are scum' please.
I'm always amazed how little bad press rugby players get for far worse acts of violence.
Lesley Vanikolo is currently on bail for GBH
Olly Barkey was very lucky to get off from a GBH charge last year.
Danny Grewcock has been in numerous scraps with the public over the years.
Trevor Brennan decked a fan in the crowd.
Somehow because it's deemed as more of a middle class sport, they don't seem to get the same bad press, but the working class footballer is always guilty before being proven innocent.
I'd be pretty surprised if anything comes of this.

Row Z Royal Something else that Gerrard's done that Lampard hasn't.

Stranded Spot on there HB.
Is not that it's brushed under the carpet but if you asked the average person in the street who Steven Gerrard is and the vast majority will know even if they don't follow football.
Ask the same person who Lesley Vanikolo is and you'll get a blank stare back unless they follow rugby.
It's therefore a no brainer that stories involving footballers particularly Premiership players make the headlines whilst similar stories involving rugby players is often stuck on page 11.

bishbosh92 Not good for english football to see a big name like him in the news for this, our players need to learn how to behave in the streets.
