He did a good job at Motherwell and Preston and didn't he get Derby promoted?
Just because it didn't work out for him with Derby in The Premiership doesn't mean that he shouldn't work again.
Look at Megson-it went wrong for him at both WBA and Forest and yet he is now doing a good job at Bolton.

Maybe so but he's a dam good manager. I'd have liked him here if we do lose Coppell in the summer.
He'll soon win over the Forest supporters.

Requirements are a bit different though. Bolton are the new Wimbledon, hoof it up and kick people around the knees.
They could play without a manager really, after all their only tactic is to kick it up towards Davies' head and then the rest of the dogs chase it down.

I thought the time might have been right for a kind of second-coming with the boy Nigel now ready to step up after doing an excellent job with Burton Albion.

Inevitable that he'll be taking 'Forest back to Pride Park in the forth round of the cup!
