Although LOLz @ the Setanta commentary team claiming that wasn't a red card until they'd seen a couple of replays

Agreed but the Soton defender deserved it for his stupidity - you just don't jump like that in the penalty area and give the ref a decision to make.

No player "deserves" to have a patently wrong decision to be made against them.

The general standard of refereeing wrt "handball" in the box is awful.

Penalty IMO. If that were at the Madstad the whole ground would be calling for it to be given. And how can they complain about the sending off either? He could have broken the players leg. I can't stand Man Utd but those decisions were both correct.

The only thing that the oficials got wrong was that the first goal was offside and that was the linesman's mistake, not the ref's. Would have made no difference if it had been disallowed anyway, Utd would still have won easily.

Surely it actually has to hit the arm (rather than the head) for it to be handball?

Is GCSE Biology a pre-requisite of posting on this board?

I'd bloody well hope not.

Just a couple of reds for violent conduct and the night would be just about perfect.

Amen "2" dat. Only two bookings so far in that one (Stearman and Quashie)

Things've sprung to life some...

Crewe and Millwall level at 2

Blunts 2 in a hurry, the first from Greg Halford, to take the lead away to Orient

Burnley 1-1 QPR all of a sudden

Cheltenham 0-0 Donny

Blunts battering Orient now, 4-1 away and Halford another.

Crewe 2-3 Millwall now

Histon pull one back, and it's 1-2 to Swans
