Derby United

Nigel Clough gets an amazing reception from the Derby fans.

I expect United to hammer the Rams though.

I really want Derby to win so that we can have the headline "The Rammed United".

How much did Nani cost?

If it's more than £250,000, they were done.

I'm afraid to inform you they were well and truely shafted.

Credit to Derby though, they never looked in any trouble and at times really played some good stuff. Kris Commons was exceptional tonight, have to wonder whether there was any chance of us getting him before he joined Derby....

It's two legs isn't it?
Derby had their day in the Sun, played as though they were happy that Jewell had left.

Yes. At least the second leg will have an element of interest about it. From the bits I saw Derby looked good. I have a sneaky feeling Cloughie will do a good job there.

I did my entire Betfair account on Man Utd tonight, the irony is, i bet Derby each way for the Championship this season, double murked.

Oh, if Welbeck is premiership class then i'm an anorexic muslim.

They only lost because they fielded a weakened side. I'm disgusted by the lack of respect they show the competition

Oh dear, I'd have thought you'd have learnt to keep your gob shut after the crap you posted about the one trick pony 4-5 years ago. Give the lad some time m8. He shows some touches of real class (only a couple last night mind) but his end product and decision making is poor....sound familiar?

If Nani turns out 60% as good as Ronaldo did then i'll wave my Superman boxers around Wokkers station.

This is where the LC shoots itself in the foot for me.

In any other round that would be a cracking result for Derby but as it's the semi final everyone knows the likelihood is that Man U will stick out a stronger team in the home leg, knock in a couple of goals and coast to the final.

Should either be one game all the way through, if you are drawn at home in the semis then power to your elbow. Or two legs all the way through.

Derby were 11-1 for 1-0 last night as well, I though that was a bit short when I saw it at Betster on my way home :|

Is Nani left or right footed though?! - it seems to me that he is a right footer but made to play left wing cos of Ronaldo on the right. IF Ronaldo leaves in the summer i think we'll then see the best of Nani (who i reckon will be a quality player, given time)
