As much as I hate Oxford ..and aldershot, swindon etc doesnt a sick part of you want them to do well so we can get regular games against them?? It's boring suddenly being a completely different class to our local rivals, however much we hate them.

NO!

Swindon, Wycombe, Aldershot - yes. Oxford are the only club I genuinely detest. I hope they rot, I really do!

I watch out for Swindon due to Simon Cox being there.

I watch out for Swindon so I don't accidentally drive into that shitpit. Thankfully, there's a lot of roundabouts and I can easily turn around and escape with all my limbs.

Whilst I'd love to play Oxford more reguarly, it's still worthy of a LOL.

I agree, massive LOL at Oxford. Can oxf*rd off and merge with Didcot please. Although, it is slightly harsh on Didcot.

Thaumagurist*
Whistle Club verdict on Tommy Burns - cost £10 mill and set us back 5 years.

Ten Million??? Are you sure?

Transfer fees on shit that got us nowhere. Wages for sht that got us nowhere. His wages.

It all adds up. Lost revenue for league placings, lost revenue from gates for being shit in div 2 when we could have been shit in div 1

I don't mind Oxford as a club. Their stadium is hideous though. The only local club I detest is Swindon.

Oxford city centre is nice for the shops and that and the nice old buildings, and also an excellent park and ride scheme.

But I didn't realise they had a football team... I've just looked through my weekend NOTW "Score" supplement and I looked through all four divisions and yep, I was right, no football team called Oxford United mentioned anywhere.

This needs copying and pasting onto a Oxford United forum  8)

Genius.

I still can't figure out why they put blue seats in their three stand excuse of a stadium? Surely yellow or black, a mix of the two, but not blue.

Maybe they really do think they're the Chelsea of the Conference

Who makes yellow seats? Cheaper to buy blue. Just look at the stadium and you can tell they
went for cheap.
