"You cannot really look beyond Manchester United at the moment for the Premier League title. They are playing the best football and not conceding any goals, so they are the favourites. Liverpool just don't look like title winners right now."

Unfortunately for Liverpool, Manchester United are the better team.

Strange that Chelsea are in turmoil and are still joint 2nd favourites with Liverpool.

Terrible game, terrible coverage by Setanta with John Champion using at least 20 mersey derby cliches before the game even kicked off. LOLz @ the suggestion that Everton should have had a penalty.

Mega LOLz @ Setanta constantly bigging up the fact that they've got the same dreadfulness on Sunday

Haven't got the stats but I thought it was wretched away form that generally did for Liverpool's chances?

United big favourites now.

Home draws

08/09 (so far) - 5
07/08 - 6
06/07 - 3
05/06 - 3

Away points

08/09 (so far) - 24
07/08 - 34
06/07 - 22
05/06 - 34

Champions home draws

07/08 - 1 (Utd)
06/07 - 2 (Utd)
05/06 - 1 (Chelsea)

Champions away points

07/08 - 35 (Utd)
06/07 - 42 (Utd)
05/06 - 36 (Chelsea)

So only one really bad season in the last four away form wise. Just look at who the home draws are against as well, pretty shocking

The fans came down together, there was a great bond between the fans and everyone was signing 'Merseyside, Merseyside' it was a fantastic occasion.

The anti Liverpool peeps on here have disappointed me with a lack of comment on the turnstile charging and Hillsborough.
