I think Hunt should frame any press cuttings that have him linked with any club for 5 mil, and if Reading have any sense at all...

I wouldn't pay £5m for Hunt, I might for Bullard, so I went for him.

But tbh I'd rather have Hunt right now.

The world has gone utterly crazy if Stephen Hunt is worth 5 million pounds.

Hunt would have been a better bet for Hull.

If you buy Bullard for £5 million you have to pay Fulham wages for the next three years to a player in his thirties who is very injury prone. I would say that Hull are mental to buy him: they are not going to want to still be paying him seven figure wages while warms the bench when they are back in the championship.

Bu Hunt and the wages are less, because he has come from Reading, and there isn't a long string of clubs going for his services. He is younger and might have some resale value.

Hunt bashing is so boring.

If you buy Bullard you get a player who has recently been in the full England squad.
If you buy Hunt you get a player who gets the odd game for Ireland when somebody is injured.
No contest, one has a lot of football ability and has shown it in the Premier League consistently over the past 3 years whereas the other is Stephen Hunt.

I think Bullard is a classy player who deserves every bit of luck and good fortune in his life. To come back after such a long lay off and start to reap the rewards of his self determination is heartening.

facaldaqui Hunt, because Bullard is 31.

He is actually 30. Anyway I'd take Bullard over Hunt anyday. If we had to swap we may lose width with the absence of Hunt but would gain so much more quality in the middle of the park, it's a no brainer.

I'd not call a dislocated knee cap through an unfortunate challenge injury prone.

Because I already know he fits well in our team, is a quality player and wouldn't cost us any money.
