The person responsible for Liverpool's demise is Sir Alex Ferguson. The timing of his comments were spot-on and have had the desired affect. Ferguson knew Liverpool were Man United's main threat to the title and we are witnessing the psychological impact Ferguson has inflicted on Liverpool. Surely it's only a matter of time before his attentions turn to Chelsea.
