Obviously because we don't have the same type of players, apart from Marek..

Watching them today v Fulham they were fantastic and passed the ball on the ground all over the pitch..great to watch

BUT..will that win promotion from this hustle and bustle league ?
will it keep a team in the premiership ?

Under Coppell, Reading play a very direct game. Not the "Route One" of Bolton, but down the wings. It's all about getting crosses in.

As such we move the ball about in different kind of way and a direct comparison with Swansea isn't possible.

Marek can pass, but he isn't as athletic as most of that Swansea team. Most of them could tackle as well.

We could play like that, but we have a different system which seems to be working albeit not massively well for the last few games.

Long term Swansea - first season in the division and improving all the time whereas we're going nowhere, we're stationary.

Just looking at the table, after Wolves lost and Birmingham drew, we are 4 points off Wolves with 2 games in hand, and 1 point behind Birmingham with 1 game in hand.

If Cardiff managed to win their 4 games in hand, they would be level on points with Wolves :Shock:

We HAVE to win these two games in hand, or it could be a 4 way battle for the automatic spots.

Agreed. I think they are a better first eleven than anyone in this league now. Don't know about their squad depth.

It will be tough for them to make the top two because they had so many draws
but they will be awesome in the play-offs. I wouldn't want us to play them or Cardiff

They have only lost 5 games in 31 and have a GD of +13, so will probably have a GD over 30 by season's end
