Archie's penalty For people who have been to Hillsborough before, how long does it take to get from the train station to the ground by bus?

If I get in at 19.10 for a 19.45 kickoff will I get there in time? Or should we aim to get in for 18.41?

Sheffield Railway Station is situated in the town centre, two miles from the ground. Either get a taxi up to the ground or the bus station is a one minute walk from the railway station. Cross over at the pedestrian crossing, and follow the signs. Head for the far side of the terminus. Bus no. 53 to Ecclesfield runs regularly to the ground (every ten minutes), the journey time is about 30 minutes. Jeremy Dawson informs me; 'if arriving by train, by far the easiest way to get to the ground is by tram, which run every ten minutes during the day. Leaving the station on a blue tram, you can either change to a yellow one in the city centre, which takes you to Leppings Lane (right by the ground), or stay on the blue one to Hillsborough, which is 10 minutes walk to the ground'. The journey time of the tram is around 20 minutes. Matt Wilcock adds; 'on matchdays regular shuttle buses run from the road at the far side of the bus station They are marked football'.

Just watch out for Wendy fans jumping into packed trams on the way back shouting "shut it you oxf*rd oxf*rd" when you talk to them

Although tickets have been issued for the upper stand I see on the OS that sales have been so poor that we are being moved to unreserved seating in the lower tier. Very disappoiting that we cannot even muster 500 for this game.

Got my tickets today and was told we were now being placed in the lower tier. Thats fairly annoying as the view from the upper tier is good. Im also suprised we arent taking a big following for this match. Being a midweek fixture and a long trek with plymouth around the corner i now assume more fans will be saving the pennies and travel to the west country instead.
