Royal Lady I'm surprised they even bothered to open the South Stand (home section) for the 30 fans who were sat in it yesterday.

If they did it is a waste of time and money, to be honest they would have been better allowing the away fans to use the whole concourse instead, if no fans in the home section.

The 17 Bus come on RFC fill it up, other than brum, get them on sale now, sell up and sell out.

After the last 2 games even that's over priced.

i seem to recall folk saying that would not be the game, i bought early, then there was an almighty scramble as folk realised what might come, derby away, 6 point gap after is a possibility.

Fair enough. I had to buy a ticket in the home end and then Leicester were good enough to move me in the away end. But we aren't winning any league this season mate. Right now I'm just about looking forward to the play-offs. Anything more than that will be a shock and a pleasant surprise. If I miss out in attending, so be it.

Don't you get a cheaper train ticket if you book in advance and as the date gets nearer you have to pay the full fare ?

How does that equate to people who have paid months in advance paying more and those who leave it till nearer the date getting a cheap deal ?

I agree with the idea of making sure the ground is full, and have always believed that offering deals to bring people in shouldn;t be seen as 'unfair' but if you take it too far then I think STH would have a case for a moan.

Sellin STH a cheap ticket is one option but you would struggle to get a seat next to you to put a friend in. Maybe do a South Stand only deal of adult plus child for £25 (or whatever slightly more than a standard adult ticket is) - effectively kid for a quid every game.

LOLz - someone else's gain is not my loss, as is always mentioned on these threads

However I'm delighted that top pundit Jay has declared "But we aren't winning any league this season mate." Which means we can start planing for our second foray into the top flight, skillz

Why don't Reading charge an entrance fee of £5 per home goal? That way you'll all get in for free every week.

Although with 21,200 tickets sold, the away end not sold out and 2200 seats in the home section of the South Stand there weren't many spare seats in the rest of the stadium.

You can bet that if they hadn't opened that section and people had been told they couldn't buy tickets they would have been 'outrage' on HNA at the ridiculous decision....

I saw lots of spare seats around the ground, though I do concede they could be ST holder seats - I can only assume they were counted amongst the total tickets "sold" - as there is no way there were over 21,000 in the stadium on Saturday.

Indeed- they give the 'tickets sold' figure and of course if you've sold a seat you can't sell it again (although I think they may have managed to do that a few times !). You'll never get 100% of ticket holders at a game.
