I went to a League Cup Final Forest v Oldham (89?) not sure what that gate would have been.
5 vists to Inter v Milan, all 80,000 officially, but with so many fake tickets around i guess it was more on every occasion.

Starfish How many people did Wembley hold in those days. My only trip there was to see the Littlewoods Cup final in 1987 and I have vague memories of the attendance being about 90,000.

Harry Carry Reading festival.
Reminds me that one of the biggest crowds I've been in to watch a football match was actually at Glastonbury in '04. When the England quarter final was shown on the big screen, there were 60,000+ watching at the Pyramid stage, cracking atmosphere
Been to plenty of games at the old Wembley where there were 100000 there....

Wembley Stadium, London 92,000. A young Maradona played as did a Man United winger who would later guide a two bob outfit into the promised land. My memory is somewhat cloudy but Keegan gave a masterful performance that day.

Some of them felt a lot like 200000 though - the old Wembley terraces could get a bit 'cosy' once all the 'unofficial' attendees had paid their cash to the turnstile operators.....

The World Cup Semi in 1994 was pretty sweet - seeing lil' Romario rise like a salmon to head home and loads of Brazilian fans going mental
