From the back of the stand. That hit my nextdoor neighbours 8 year old girl in the 6th row and she had to go to hospital.

Twat.

Agreed. I heard about this from my colleagues.

I think they've got the culprit on CCTV.

Where is the 6th row? Anywhere near the rib cage?

Seriously, anyone throwing a bottle ANYWHERE is a knob. I dont expect the perpetrator to be reading this as he / she / it will be unable to read.

Why did the stewards not confiscate the bottle top?

Seems to be a local law to the Madejski - I bought a bottle of Coke at both Hillsborough and Homje Park and both times was giving a bottle with the top still on.

I got hit by a king size Mars Bar at Filbert Street years ago. I had the last laugh though as it hadn't been opened so I tucked in.

Some people don't realise how lucky they are

I had a Party four tin just miss me at an England vs Scotland game at the "old Wembley" many years back.
Yes it was full and lobbed by those pizzed up Northern twats in the terrace behind us :o

As you guessed searching was very poor in those days!

Did anyone actually witness this thrown bottle, apart from the daughter of the neighbour of HNA's most accomplished wind-up merchant?

I stood at the back, but I only threw bits of rolled up paper at Spacey on the train. Promise.

With the prices they charge for refreshments these days I'm amazed this is still an issue.
