Reading World Users

I know there are a number of us struggling with DRM (Digital Media Rights). I am a Reading World subscriber but yet I was never able to watch match highlights or listen to live radio of the games from my work computer or my laptop from home. I was only able to get it to work from my desktop at home.

Others have commented that they are having similar problems. You log-in and the clips will not play. Well, here is the solution, I did this and am now able to view RW clips with no problem on any computer.

1 - You need to delete the DRM folder on your computer. It is a hidden system file so the first thing you need to do is change your settings to view hidden or system files. Open windows explorer (Start-Run->explorer). Then select the 'Tools -->Folder Options' and then select the 'View' tab. Select 'Show Hidden Files and folders' and Uncheck 'Hide Protected operating system files:

2 - Once that is done, you need to delete the DRM folder. For Windows XP it is located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM

3 - Once you delete that folder go here:

http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Ind ... ndivit.asp

This will start the DRM from a clean state, which resolves most DRM issues.

Enjoy!

It works the same. When I said open windows explorer, that is not internet explorer. You need to expose the operating system files via windows explorer.

Start --> Run --> Explorer (hit enter)

Should open something like this:

Never mind the DRM - what about the quality? Adverts, music and oftern the feed cuts out without warning for minutes at a time.

I'd far rather listen to BBCRB if I had the chance. Fvcking internet.

I can't find the DRM folder in Vista. :(
I should cancel my subscription.

* Wait, hold on. I now have found DRM, but it's empty. And searching DRM in my whole laptop comes up with multiple folders including Microsoft-Windows-MediaPlayer-DRM.
o_o

** Oh now the link doesn't do anything for me.
I'm restoring the folder and cancelling subscription.

It is about time they got it sorted. How come I can easily watch high quality highlights through the virgin site on my mac, but if I want to watch the ones I actually pay for through RW I have to go and find a PC?
