World Cup Final in 1994 at the Pasadena Rose Bowl. Italy 0 Brazil 0. Mate won a trip to the WC finals (semi Brazil vs Bulgaria, 3rd/4th place and final) as he won Daily Mail Fantasy League football.

Most boring game I ever went to, and played in a stadium with no shelter and blazing sunshine in temperatures of over 120 degress at mid day. I remember thinking how I should have been really excited, but was just bored and feeling ungrateful.

Whitney Houston and Pele came on in the build up show thing - she kicked a giant balloon ball and missed a huge goal from about three yards, but the pyrotechnics still went off and the goal exploded. Funniest thing I ever saw in my entire life. She currently is on loan at Brentford.

The Prisoner Whitney Houston and Pele came on in the build up show thing - she kicked a giant balloon ball and missed a huge goal from about three yards, but the pyrotechnics still went off and the goal exploded. Funniest thing I ever saw in my entire life. She currently is on loan at Brentford.

That's interesting, because Diana Ross missed a penalty in the opening ceremony of that tournament. What is it with female vocalists and their lacklustre spot-kick skillz?

Maybe it was Diana Ross. Can't remember! Sure Whitney was involved somewhere in the opening ceremony. Exactly my point though - world cup final and bored! I could tell you more about Oldham 0 Reading 1 when Cureton scored with that cracking chip....

Sporting - plenty of internationals and 3 cup finals at old Wembley (being in the minority in a 100,000 crowd at England Scotland.

Non sporting - festival at Blackbush (Dylan Clapton) c1976 where the estimated attendance was 250,000
