Do way have a case to sue West Ham?

by 66DD » 18 Mar 2009 16:23

If West Ham had played by the rules over the Tevez business and got relegated we wouldn't have had to play them last season; but we would have played Sheffield United instead.

We always win at Brammall Lane so we would have ended the season with more points and consequently wouldn't have been relegated and therefore wouldn't have lost however much income you get from dipping your snout in the Premier League trough.

I think that we must have a good case to sue West Ham. Can anyone see any flaws in it?

I was thinking exactly the same yesterday. Had the cheats from West Ham got what they deserved and been relegated, there is no way Sheffield United would have stayed up at our expense the following season.

The trouble is, you can buy 'justice' in this country as the PL and West Ham have just proved.

I see Fulham have jumped on the bandwagon with a claim for loss of merit money on the basis that they finished one place lower than they think they would had Tevez not played.

Cheeky monkeys have claimed for the prize money equivalent payable THIS season rather than the season it happened - about DOUBLE what they should do...
