Given that this Summer the UK could go bust, is there any danger that ST prices might actually go down should we not get promoted.

Can someone tell me how much a ticket would cost on the day?

Considering the season ticket works out at £18.47 a game (in Div 1) and I usually end up missing at least 2 home games a season through holidays etc I want to calculate how much I actually benefit by getting a season ticket.

Finding it harder than ever to justify renewing my ticket this year, mainly due to personal circumstances. Probably will mind.

Decision made: on account of the negative attitude around the Mad Stad these days, we are not renewing. We're going to attend as many home matches as feasible, but the focus will be on the more rewarding atmosphere to be found away from home. I need to start enjoying myself at the game again, and this seems the best way to do it.

For the record, anyone know when the club take the money if you renew now, do they take it now or not until 1st July?

I would imagine they take it now, or they wouldn't be asking for it by 3rd April!

Indeed, but if you have kids you have to fund them so they are stuck with you. At least their ST gives them a small amount of pleasure in their lives.

Good plan, get it in now before buying a house! Very much like a colleague of ours who knows it's far better to sort it now than wait until the month his first child will be born in 8)

Doesn't say on the official site what the cost will be if we are not promoted.

I would be surprised if the difference between Prem and Champ is not at least £75 meaning a pretty minimal saving and, possibly, zero saving if we don't go up.

I can't see any way the price will rise if we stay down.

Hasn't the assumption always been that staying in this division would mean the prices staying the same ?

The 'deal' is a gamble on getting a cheaper deal if we go up, and people can take their own view on that.

I didn't 'gamble' on buying my season ticket incase we go up. I would have renewed if we got relegated tbh.

Well courtesy of Gordon Brown's last two reigns of incompetence, my money gets sold all interest where it is, so I might just be tempted.

i would renew now but i'm to poor right now, means i'll be paying through the nose once i have got the money together which is only slightly annoying.

i wouldn't bank on that, there are plenty of excuses they can roll out to justify a price increase for those who delayed what ever division we are in.
in fact promotion should really mean a price decrease due to all the extra revenue the club makes but you know that won't be happening.

If we don't go up and the price announced is the same as the "early-bird" price then I think an awful lot of people will be justifiably pissed off!
