I hope for your sake the Royalty Points scheme isn't "reviewed" next season.

Even if they do "review" it, IMO at worst they'd only end up making the point system look at the previous 5 years (to "reward" continuous recent support).

Sun Tzu Surely any history is relevant for the points ?
I'm not sure having 3 years as opposed to 5 years history will have any practical effect in terms of getting tickets but I can't see any point in just binning what people have built up.

Not sure my points from 4 years ago is at all relevant to now, far better to have it rolling, i have more points than a new supporter that started coming this season, and if they were to buy a ST for next season i still have more points, putting me ahead of them for away tickets in the prem, should we make it next season, cant see how that can be right.

Sun Tzu Surely the point of 'loyalty' is a combination of past and present. Your lack of recent loyalty is rewarded by your points total not increasing, new fans lack of past loyalty is rewarded by them needing to catch up...

Agreed, but they're Royalty Points not Loyalty points. There's not much benefit to the club in rewarding people who have stopped spending with them.
I'm not suggesting that it's going to happen but the club could take the view that a "re-alignment" would serve them better, rewarding, as it would, those customers that are actively investing in the club.
I hope it's not the case, but there are no guarantees you can rely on existing points to secure seats next season.

I would be surprised if tickets for a single game don't make it to open sale regardless of the division.
