Brilliant stuff. One of my mates is a Exeter fan so I've seen them a fair few times, going to be a hell of a mission to stay in League 1.

Ideal I went to the playoff final last year

Dean Moxey is easily the best player in league two, I guess a lot of next season hinges on if Exeter can keep him.

The goalkeeper of my old university football team is good mates with him. I remember being in the changing rooms after a game when he got a text from Moxey who was boasting about a goal he'd just scored in the FA Cup.

I remember watching Match of the Day that night keeping an eye out for it, and it turned out he'd lobbed the 'keeper from the half-way line!

When you think how Aldershot were streets ahead of them last season-fantastic effort by Exeter.
I wonder if you can get more than two people in the away Gents these days-that is two people dying for a Jimmy and not two people who.............

I follow Exeter as well as Reading due to family who are from Exeter. One of the main reasons Exeter have been able to push on from being in alot of debt is the F.A Cup match against Manchester United which earnt the Club around £1m. The manager, Tisdale has done a fantastic job. Came from Bath after 4 back to back promotions with them.

The fans own the Club at the momment and the members pay around £2 a month towards the Club I believe. Heard that they're planning on extending the stadium in the near future as well which is good.

Up the Grecians!

I really am surprised by this. I've actually never been to see them play - purely because they're not Reading. ;)

I think they'll come back down. Not easy for a club to stay up after two promotions. Just look at Brighton and Rotherham. Hope they do well though.

On their day they were a better team than Aldershot and I called at the start of this season they would finish easily above Aldershot this year.

Fair play to them, think they will naturally find it a bit tougher next season as League 1 will be extremely competitive next season but again I think they'll do better than Hereford did.

You're surprised they went up, yet admit to never seeing them play or basically knowing anything about them, and then you predict relegation next season.

Not only are you a spasticated fuckpiece, but you're ignorant too!

But what he said in the original post made sense, you quoted bits of it to get him to look stupid. You go on about how crap Oxford Utd are,how many times you seen them play?I agree with all that Thaumagurist* says on this thread.

You can always go back in history and find clubs that struggled, as you have very 'intelligently' pointed out. But you'll also find even more clubs that didn't struggle and instead continued their success up the leagues.

You short sighted cloth eared poodle pumper.

Erm, Spacey's origianal post didn't need any editing. He admits to knowing nothing of Exeter and yet knows they'll get relegated next season.

And as for Oxford, I grew up watching them, albeit occasionally with my grandad who lived a stones throw from the Manor. Thankfully though it was Reading that got me hooked, and the events that took place in Oxford the season we were relegated, and watching skin headed nob heads punch a 15 year old in the face and push over a woman on crutches, to mention just two incidents that night, I can't stand the club. I hope they rot in the dwellings of non league football.
