Sun Tzu Quick search reveals pricing from 75p - 1.50 a piece.

Don't know how the price breaks work though so no idea what 20k would work out at - somewhere in the middle of that i would guess.

Some clubs have sold sponsorship on them (Fulham for one) to offset costs.

Even if it's 20k it's not that much in the scheme of things. We'd easily recoup that from the TV money for this game which I think is 60k.

So, anything between 10k and 20k then? Even so, it's a significant sum of money that copuld have been used more productively.

Have STAR contributed hard cash to this?

Not sure how it could have been used more productively and it's only a significant amount if you put it in some kind of context.

I've made my view on the clappers clear earlier but the fairly small relative expenditure (possibly no expenditure) isn't that important to me. Compare it to what players earn and it's really nothing, offset it against our guaranteed playoff earnings and it's paid for from 'bonus' money.

Given what the players 'earn' (not sure they all earned their money today), maybe they could have financed the clappers.

2 world wars, 1 world cup Not that what I want to say is entirely relevant to "club policies" or this thread, apologies, (I am not able to comment in the more relevant section because this thread exists here) but:

WE WILL BE TOTALLY AND UTTERLY OUTSUNG BY BRUM TOMORROW

That's all.

You were so wrong!!

LOL also at the morons amongst the Brum support who got hoiked out by TVP and hopefully will now miss the opportunity to watch their team in the PL (other than on the box) if they pick up football related convictions.

Will the said clapper be taken to court as evidence.

I made it into my seat 3 minutes before kickoff and my clapper was nicked by the kid behind. :D
