How to improve the Atmosphere

by boy1985 » 15 May 2009 14:20

As we are now only getting 19,000 for home matches would it not be better to decrease the capacity of the stadium?

Empty seats and gaps in the crowd mean the atmosphere is harder to generate.

We could remove the North stand completely like the Kassam Stadium?

Plant more trees and use less fossil fuels.

I think the best way to improve the atmosphere is to get a gang of nobodies from Whitley, to abuse their own fans, high up in the South West corner.

If Y25/6 learned some inoffensive and entertaining songs it might help.

Go back to unreserved seating in East and North stands. People who want to remain seated and watch the game can move towards the front. Those who want to stand, make noise and create an atmosphere move to the back.

I want to sit down (mainly), watch the game, make noise, and create an atmosphere.

The best way to improve atmosphere is to play Stoke at home every week

Give the away fans 22,000 tickets and limit ourselves to 2,100.

Recruit 11 members of staff who are reasonably good at football and willing to play with passion on the pitch for 90 minutes at a time.

Team up The DELF with The Scorpions and set them on the away fans. Nothing gets a crowd fired up better than a bit of argy-bargy,
