Harry Carry
Gus the teenage cow
Harry Carry Liverpool will have to reel something about Hillsbrough again to get a few column inches if they go ANOTHER season without a trophy.

Still there is always next season

ya poor liverpool, scoring the most goals for the second consecutive season...doing the double over man u and ch£atski while every other team lies down to them and comfortable in second place, a poor season by their standards, just goes to show how great a club they are

Don't think you can call a team who hasn't won the league since the back pass rule came into a effect a big club, that's 20 years  .

I would have thought the little matter of European success might say otherwise.
Until they achieve that feat then some of our "medium" clubs like Chelsea,Everton,Spurs etc can only look up and admire.

If that's a backhanded suggestion that you think Chelsea are a bigger club than Liverpool then that is the most outrageous footballing suggestion I have ever read on this board. It's utterly laughable

In actual fact, not being completely ruled out of the title race with two games left represents something of an achievement for them. Says it all.

I don't like United but i'm afraid they just completely own Liverpool, and one win at OT won't change that.

Looking at that video footage again I am not even sure it is meant to be a Rafa pisstake, just looks like he is waving his arms around a bit then thrusts his groin at the crowd.

Gus the teenage cow another example of man u's obsession with iverpool even when they are winning everything, let it go

Exactly,I don't understand why he doesn't just enjoy the current success while it lasts.
All those years and all that money spent and they have only now just caught up with Liverpool domestically.
As for Europe their success ratio is a mere 60% of Liverpool's so still a long way to go until they can even be talked of in the same breath as England's most successful club but at least they have been Champions of Europe just once more than Nottingham Forest-that must surely make their fans feel good..

In the same period that Utd moved from 7 & 1 to 18 & 3 (pos 4) Liverpool have gone from 18-4 to 18-5

When Liverpool where dominating they spent more on transfers than any other club - shocker

I think you might find that you just made that up

to be fair they'd be an improvement on gillett and hicks

.....on a serious note that's bollox, if one team owns another then generally they aren't obsessed with them...even after the title win today all the talk by man u players/management/fans is liverpool....i don't know if it's inferiority complex, bitterness or what but they should just enjoy their own success

Rivalry is what we had in the good old days when I were a lad. This is called hatred.

Of course Chelsea went FIFTY years in between titles, when they were skint and no one really followed them.
