Royal Rother Bicycle road racing is about as bad a TV Sport as you can get. Even worse than basketball.
Surely the dullest televised sport just has to be golf. Absolutely nothing to redeem it- except perhaps watching the grass grow.

rabidbee Well, asides from when I happen to be on holiday in July, I only ever get to watch the Tour as highlights, and that's good enough. Last year, I was in Normandy for two weeks during July, in a cottage without radio or tv. I bought one of those little adapters for my laptop, which had frankly awful reception. Because we were on holiday, I obviously didn't sit around all day watching the whole stage, but racing back in to watch Cavendish win his stages on the tiniest, grainiest image I've ever had to watch, was still one of the most exciting sporting events of last year for me.

Now you can appreciate how some of us grew up watching sport on TV.
