Royal Lady No fixed date was given as far as I can remember and Celtic have pulled out anyway. Poor Murts.

Not sure they "pulled out" (although the Pope would have approved, of course) - the policing bill that TVP insisted would need to be paid if it was Celtic made it uneconomic to have them as opponents.

I'd start Murty on the bench.

Ah. Well the paper said Celtic had to pull out as they had other commitments.

Can anyone tell me when the great man's testimonial date is ? Has it actually been set yet ?

I really hope we see the 'old boys' playing and Murty's mob managed by SC. I really don't feel like we've had a proper chance to say goodbye to some Royals legends (Well Murts and USA anyway!)

Thanks.

Coppell will manage the 106 team and the new manager the other

so as it stands the current squad playing against each other- Might as well advertised it as a training day really!

Murty said they're looking into this as an option at the moment.

Would be a good way to give Murty, Coppell and Marcus a good send off, but it isn't really the most attractive of games.

The Parky one, which was a similar All Time XI was a good evening though.

Parky's testimonial was very enjoyable, apart from Rougier 's showboating battle against Gazza. Personally I'd far rather see the 106 side than Celtic.
