Cardiff escape punishment again (part 31)

What do Cardiff City fans ACTUALLY have to do in order for the FAW to punish their club??

Frankly, the ONLY language of punishment teams understand is that of points deductions.

Thing is, I was at a Reading game once and I remember a chap in the East Stand throwing a hotdog at one of the officials and the Club went unpunished. I don't think the hotdog hit the official but the intent was there.

You really are a shit fisherman Harry.

Mr A, Cardiff will never be heavily punished by the FAW. It's not in the FAW's interests to punish them is it?

5p thrower didn't get his nick-name for nothing. A football banning order but Reading didn't get punished for that...

It'll have to take a massive media campaign to put pressure on the FAW before something would be finally done.

It wasn't a hot dog, it was a pie. It was during PANTS day. We were warned, but not punished.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, if clubs play in the English league set up they should be affiliated to the English FA. If clubs don't want affiliation to the English FA or other associations won't let them affiliate to the English FA then they should be barred from all English competitions.

Whether the FA would have given the same decision or not you can't have clubs in the same competition possibly being treated differently under different rules (however small) just because their affiliation is different.

There you go. The intent was there, so should be punished.

I note the angle you're coming from but if C*rdiff & Swansea were no longer affiliated to the FAW then would they FAW lose it's rights with FIFA Re: rule votes, countries to host tournaments etc... which would effectively mean that The FA would also lose some power presuming they all vote the same way?

I'm sure there are more clubs in Wales other than just Cardiff and Swansea. Such as those in the League of Wales!

I'm pretty sure that it's only C*rdiff & Swansea that play footy in the whole of Wales actually... I think there's a few grammatical errors you've probably missed too.

FIFA already seem to be pushing for a GB Olympic footy team so the major Welsh teams leaving the FAW would just add weight to their attempt to amalgamate the Home nation FAs. Does anyone give a flying fcuk about the League of Wales??

The thing I don't get is, Swansea, Cardiff etc hate the English, yet they play in our league. If they don't like us, they can fook right off IMO.

It's like Ireland and Scotland, they only like us when it benefits them. Typical!!

Fair viewpoint on the league but it's not going to change. It actually adds an extra element compared to the standard 'dirty northern b'stard' type rivalries and at least it keeps adult stores in business with the number of inflatable sheep purchased

'They only like us when it benefits them' - well, touche as it happens both ways.
