No well done Scunthorpe thread??

by Flyingkiwi » 25 May 2009 23:47

I don't have any particular affection for Scunthorpe and, as far as I know, I've never been there BUT......

They've condemned the arrogant tossers in Leeds, Franchise United in Milton Keynes and those W*NKERS from the Isle of Dogs to another season of third tier football so I'd just like to say...

United! (Clap, clap, clap),United! (Clap, clap, clap),United! (Clap, clap, clap),United! (Clap, clap, clap)!

Was in the 'wall end yesterday, and Scunthorpe deserve it entirely.

Good football, a solid side. Good luck to them.

Would have preferred Millwall to go up simply because it isnt as far away.

But how will we discuss them in the chat room? It bowdlerises the name. :D

Alexander's first goal for 'Wall was simply stunning - surely the best goal scored at the New Wembley so far!

One of the better goals I've seen in person, and that's a fair few!

Followed by what was probably the worst miss at the New Wembley, by the same player.

Tidy little ground and expect a reasonably friendly reception and plenty of room to park at the front of the ground.

Very happy with the promotions and relegations. Am in Manc and all but one of the teams (Peterborough) are at least in the midlands. Never been to any of the grounds either. Should be a fun season :D

'grats to scunny.

Always nice to see a "lesser" name rise for a while at least.
