Didn't his reaction in your point 3 actually come about because idiots like yourself were sending him abusive text messages?

Me too......I was totally embarrassed by Lita's camera actions in the last tournament.

Anyway, looking forward to this tournament. Actually going out on Thursday with a few lads to watch the Spain game. Hopefully we'll tuck the Fins away tonight. It's all about flicking between cricket & football this evening 8)

Yeah, it was a bit of a mixed bag really:

1) nearly scored an own goal - defender turned around and didn't look up to see where the goalkeeper was, stroked the ball back....keeper ran over to kick the ball away from the goal line. I was really shocked to see lax passing from a defender.

2) We got a penalty, a Spanish defender chopped Milner's legs away. Milner took the penalty, hit it hard and low to the left, but it was too easy for the Spanish goalkeeper to save. I was thinking, why didn't he hit it a bit higher - that's where it's more harder for a keeper to save?

3) Our first goal was slightly fortunate, a Spanish defender gifted the ball to Campbell who still had to work to beat a defender or two and shot it in low to the right of the keeper.

4) Walcott for once did something excellent, he broke into the box from the left and laid on an excellent ball for Milner to thump it in. 2-0.

Either the Spics were not very good at shooting on goal or Hart was in very good form - the Spanish had quite a few chances.

I now expect Mr Royal "I'm so intelligent" Rother to poo poo the performance and say our players weren't very intelligent.

Wasn't quite sure what you were so unsure about in my post, until I'd noticed that you'd underlined the words "more harder". Why didn't you just edit out the rest out my post so I'd know what your problem was, or are you too lazy?

Anyway, the fact is still that Milner had hit it at a height that was easy for the keeper to save.

Have you considered that he didn't hit it where he intended?

Or the fact the keeper made a good save from a good penalty? If keeper had dived the other way we wouldnt be having this arguement!

moo surely players should be under 21??

All players had to be 21 or under when the qualification process began at the start of the 2007/8 season.

Thats a bit ridiculous. As soon as they hit their 22nd b-day they shouldn't be eligible.

what if someone turns 22 during the finals.?
