Chelsea 2 Reading 2.

At least I think they were quiet - I was too busy laughing at the comedy own goal.

+1, along with Ingimarrsson's 2 last minute equalisers!

Oh dear.

Baines Harper against Palace.

I'll see your Harper at Selhurst Park and raise you Kitson at Bramall Lane in the same season. Dyer scored for them after 9 minutes and all four sides of the stadium (including the home fans above us) were in full voice. Two minutes later, the ball went down the other end and Kitson SHUT THEM THE oxf*rd UP. That has to be the most satisfying silencing of opposition ever, especially considering Colin's continued insistence that they were the better team.

I love beating the Blades. I'm still annoyed that Kelly was sent off at the end of the game.

I don't recall them being silent after that goal, though...

Another one from the promotion season. At Ninian Park, we relax after going up 3-0. Cardif get one goal and then quickly score a second and look like they might equalise in the final quarter of an hour or so.

We head back down the other end, and Doyle and Kitson get a 4th and 5th, with an attitude that just seemed to say that we could score as many goals as we could be bothered to. Chant: "We're just too good for you", silence from the Welsh.

(tbf, the Cardiff fans were only silent whilst they remained in the ground - slightly more boisterous outside...)

I was drunker for the no CP game than for the Sheff U game. PLUS - added Andy Johnson baiting.

Birth of first child >>> Harper equalising against Palace >>> all other stuff

And that's just because I'm a bit soft.

Toss commentary, and it didn't really silence Cardiff. You couldn't hear them. :|

Silenced a bird at work brilliantly earlier. She is your typical Liverpool fan - JFT96 tshirts on mufty day, the lot!

She was looking up kits for next season and saw the Newcastle yellow away kit "urgh, that's nearly as bad as the Arsenal away kit in the 80s"

"What, the away kit they wore when Michael Thomas scored in the last minute of the season to take the title from Anfield, at Anfield?"

I watched the Palace game in the Manc Union, before going upstairs to see a gig. Can't for the life of me think who it was now. But shutting up your promotion rivals at their place and pretty much sealing the title has to be the best. Plus, I do so love Three-Point Lane.

When was that then? A pre season friendly? I dion't recall seeing Fat Boy score against us. What I can remember is Drogba scoring about 4 times, an Ingimarsson og and Ballack getting one. But obviously you know more about your club than I do.

Lampard scored in the home game in 2007-8, when Faé just let him through the midfield. However, his goal equalised Bikey's goal, and Chelsea won the game 2-1. If Harry means the home game in 2006-7, then he presumably thinks that Lampard was actually aiming for the double ricochet off the woodwork and then in off Ingi's arse?
