Harry Carry Reading 0-1 Chelsea

Lampard. 8)

When was that then? A pre season friendly? I dion't recall seeing Fat Boy score against us. What I can remember is Drogba scoring about 4 times, an Ingimarsson og and Ballack getting one. But obviously you know more about your club than I do.

Lampard scored in the home game in 2007-8, when Faé just let him through the midfield. However, his goal equalised Bikey's goal, and Chelsea won the game 2-1. If Harry means the home game in 2006-7, then he presumably thinks that Lampard was actually aiming for the double ricochet off the woodwork and then in off Ingi's arse?

I'm pretty sure it didnt hit the woodwork. IIRC, it hit the wall then Ingi then went in. But if i'm wrong then i'm wrong.

No matter how many ricochets it had - it was still a goal worthy of celebration as if it was a European Cup winning goal....

You're probably right, I can just remember it was a freakish goal.

Lescott had just made it 2-2 with a 92nd minute equaliser & then Ashley Young went straight up the other end to win it 3-2

My fav from a RFC point of view was the 2-2 at Stamford Bridge (what a result that was...)
I went beserk, Chelsea fell silent apart from a few embarassed victory signs.

As a neutral, my recent fav that I can think of features Chelsea again, this time though shutting up an arrogant Liverpool Kop singing 'YNWA' with minutes to go in a tight EC tie a couple of years ago.

Kop in full voice, flags flying, scarves raised, then a Risse own goal, silence, apart from a 1000 Chelsea going mad, cat got your tongue Kopites?

LInk on you-tube somewhere, it's a good one.
