Schards#2 They will win the Premiership within 5 years.

Sadly, money talks.

You also thought Reading would finish mid-table.

It didn't for Kaka. The only players who will go there are one's like Bellamy and Bridge coming to the end of there careers looking for one last big pay day.

As I said, money talks.

E'to, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Robinhio

That would be some serious firepower if they can all gel.

MiniRoyal Man City going down the drain? (sorry  ).

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manc ... 122993.stm

The home of Manchester City Football Club suffered flooding overnight after heavy downpours.

Fire crews spent several hours pumping water from ground floor offices, a store room and lift areas at the City of Manchester stadium.

Looks like money talks Cameroonian (if not Portuguese)

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 123946.stm

Manchester City are believed to have had a £25m bid for striker Samuel Eto'o accepted by Barcelona.

The Spanish club's president Joan Laporta claimed City have made the 28-year-old Cameroon international a "stratospheric offer" to join them.

Reports have suggested the Eastlands club have offered Eto'o wages of up to £250,000 per week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the world.

The trophy room was flooded fortunatly the fireman removed everything of value. The sky blue carpet will be re laid later today.

E’to – turns Barca down
Tevez – couldn’t get in United’s team last season, even when Rooney was playing out wide
Santa Cruz – 6 goals last season, MASSIVE
Ronhinhio – doesn’t turn up between October and March

That money really is talking down at Citeh

Didn't Berbatov score less goals than Tevez this season?

Yet Tevez is a bad signing and Berbatov is a good one?

Strange logic from the bitter Manc

Yes, he scored one more goal mainly thanks to his Carling Cup exploits. In terms of League and Champions League though Berbatov had the better record. Logic not so twisted 8)

Berbatov games / goals:
League 29 - 9
Champions League 5 - 4
FA Cup 2 - 1
Carling Cup 0 – 0

Tevez games / goals:
League 18 - 5
Champions League 4 - 2
FA Cup 3 - 2
Carling Cup 5 - 6

TMD is no Snowball!!

I'd still take Tevez out of the two.

Berbatov will give you more moments of magic, but over a full season I think Tevez would win you more games.

Tevez's goal ratio is slightly better than Berbatov's as well, although I think it's fair to say that some of the goals scored would be against inferior opposition to the norm given that he played in the Carling Cup. The league goal ratio is very similar as well, berbatov's slightly better. But personally, give me Tevez over Berbatov any day. He scores goals, creates goals, and is happy to do the dirty work if required.
