Movers Week

by SWLR » 29 Jun 2009 18:50

Is there a way through the on-line ticketing to establish whether the annoying couple behind me have done the honourable thing and not renewed.
If they have not, and we pay the movers fee to escape is there:
- any tag to point our where the equally obnoxious people sit
- an insurance policy that we can move quickly again at no fee

I know some folk on hear call for a singing zone. Maybe we can create one for all these tedious bores to moan amongst themselves (surrounded by a sound-proof box) and leave the rest of us to support the team.

Rant over, but if I hear that women squeal 'come on Harper' one more time, or that bloke mouth off like some sky-couch potato who has never kicked a footbal in his life, I may just have to do the un-English thing and turn round and say something rather than just seething like all of last season. :|
(OK, rant not over, but in the words of HMHB, I hate them from the bottom of my heart)

Not on-line, but easily by phone . If you know the seat numbers they're in, just enquire of the Sales Centre if those seates have been renewed - say you're thinking of buying them if not.

Then you'll know, and can act accordingly.

Is it possible to request my seat face away from the pitch for next season over the phone or would i need to go in and sort it out in person?

many thanks

You can still move your own ST for the same value as an unwanted hobbit - ie £2

Is getting up from your seat and shouting once in a blue moon rowdy? Or is it sneaking off early for a cheeky half time beer which offends them?

Yes, yes you know me! I sit a couple of rows behind RL.

Anyway people suggest 'singing areas'....perhaps we can just have a specific area for all the annoying people to sit together? It'd soon be full....

I did as Dirk suggested. They confirmed the arseh*oles have renewed and agve me some options to move. Went away on business and at 12:15 on Saturday remembered too late.

When I had called to enquire i was told if I moved after this Saturday I would ahve to pay the difference between a renewal and new ST price. B*llocks to that.
I will sit and seave(sp?) for another season

That was my immediate reaction. I'd try again and argue the toss.

I'd insist on speaking to the manager in the expectation that he/she knows what they are doing. Hopefully they will then (re)train whoever you spoke to initially. Even I (reputed to be a severe critic of everything RFC do!) would not entertain the thought that they could come up with something so stupid!

£2 to cover the costs of creating a new membership card which will contain the season ticket details. This, I do not think, is not unreasonable. Would your beloved man ure do it for free then? Really??? How much are they in debt?????

Ticket replacement cost, the same amount as a replacement for a lost one, I think. Makes sense, otherwise the cost to the club could run into thousands.

They're in debt loads.
No fee to move seats though - you get a new card each season.

Are you on about the 2 old boys next to me? They do my head in a bit but I'm glad to have them there as it stops me standing up and singing etc - which I'd no doubt get in trouble for :|
