Heard this on Talksport this morning. Always come across as a decent bloke in the media (Talksport / Setanta). Hope he recovers, but does not sound good at all.

Retired in Feb 2008, as he had lost his desire and was struggling to keep fit.

Lots of get well soon messages on the rangers forums, its sickening, it really is.

I posted my thoughts there and dont need to do the same here, but no one deserves this and its the most evil disease in the world.

Ex-Wales And Celtic Striker Battles Cancer

by Stretts » 13 Jul 2009 18:39

Don't really think this is football related.

Former Celtic striker John Hartson has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, which has spread to his brain.

Our thoughts are with you m8.

Edit - I know this is in GF Jay, but it should be in AE due to the nature of the illness.

If its spread to his brain it looks desperately grim. I dont understand though how the cancer has spread from his testicles to his brain but not affected any of his other organs.

Thread's getting deleted anyway so what does it matter. Try not to whine like a bitch when it happens.
