Thou Voice As season ticket holders, is it wrong for this tight fisted club to force us to sit in unreserved seats?
I mean we pay for season tickets and surely it's our right to sit where we pay to sit for all matches and the only excuse is that the Emperor cannot put his hand in his pockets to pay a few servants to serve us beer and food at half time on the closed stands?
What happens when attendence drops even more, will they start to close stands for League games and bunch people up into a single stand - it looks that way.

Royal Lady ST holders had to purchase tickets for this game and were given paper tickets which clearly stated it was unreserved seating and thus, did not have a seat number on them.

Dirk Gently No, it's about the distribution of money between both clubs and the Cup Organiser (FL or FA depending on the Cup) and the allocation of this within ST prices
Only Arsenal do "cup-inclusive STs" and that includes a specific number of cup games, not "all cup games" - they have enough games to ensure these will always be used, and their STs prices are higher to reflect the increased number of matches.

Royal Lady I do see what you're getting at Thou Voice re being able to book your ST seat for cup games.
As I said on another thread, there wasn't much last night to encourage me to want to go to cup games in the future, no parking at HP, half the food/drink outlets on the concourse closed, no burger vans. Everyone from the Chairman down obviously realised that we wouldn't get much of a crowd.

Wuld spending lots of money on having the HP car park stand empty have been a good idea though ?
Thou Voice is clearly on the wind up here.
Your ST is for league games so there isn;t even a discussion about sitting in 'your' seat at cup games any more than there is for London Irish games or Elton John concerts !
Of course they could come up with a way of including some cup games in the ST but the obvious problems would arise when we get drawn away in all our games and people then ask for their money back !

Thou Voice My seat is mine - and I should be allowed for the duration of the extra games in the season to purchase a ticket to be allowed to sit in it for those matches that are not inclusive as we were allowed in the Premiership.

Define "lots of money"? do the club pay to use the car park and pay the 4 car park stewards on top of that?Sun TzuRoyal Lady I do see what you're getting at Thou Voice re being able to book your ST seat for cup games.

cmonurz Your season ticket does not include cup games. Therefore it is not 'your' seat at cup games. You of course have an option to request your seat when buying your ticket, as long as someone has not already been allocated to it.

Dirk Gently It wasn't linked to the PL in the slightest - it's linked to the attractiveness of the opposition and the likely size of the attendance.
If we'd been playing an attarcive team yesterday with an expected attendance of 10k or more it would have been all stands open and allocated seating.

No, not a wind up. This does not sit well with me or my peers.
I have nooooooooooo problem in buying cup games on top of my season ticket - but - I want to be able to sit in my seat.
I did not pay for a season ticket to watch from random parts of the stadium.
The same way, from the pre-season friendly, it was a joke we could not use our car park passes there.
