Probably the best way he sees to deal with it...being around his teammates/mates and playing football may help him take his mind off it all for a couple of hours.

People deal with things differently I guess.

Totally different situation (as this one was of the nasty little racist thug's own making) but stressful nonetheless, do you remember how Lee Bowyer managed to play the best football of his career when he had the threat of prison and the court case rumbling along in the background. It was probably the best release he had for the stress he was under at the time.

Like everyone I'm amazed some people were surprised about the events of last night! and in other news, bears shoite in woods...

I think you'll find they are football fans actually, or they wouldn't be posting on a football forum.

They're absolutely off their heads. Makes me sad to read things like that.

Well done on choosing the only post making fun of this. Everyone else told him how sick it was.

I post on that board and he's a well known WUM.

Compo's Hat

I think she enjoyed it!

I noticed her on the BBC clip, about 15 seconds in. She's just strolling across the pitch as if she'd taken a short-cut home after doing some shopping.
